Dr Sukanthi Rajaratnam

Dental Surgeon
Sukanthi qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1996. She has since gained further postgraduate qualifications, MFGDP in 2005 and DRDP in 2008, which recognise an additional level of study and commitment to dentistry. She has also completed a course in the placement and restoration of dental implants at the Eastman Institute of Clinical Excellence. She took over the Family Dental Practice in 2008 and aims for the practice to provide affordable private dental care for the local community and surrounding areas.
Her strengths are in treating patients with a very gentle manner putting even the very anxious at ease. Her high skill level and experience ensures any treatment carried out is as comfortable as possible and to a very high standard. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, implant placement, restorations and treating children. She particularly enjoys helping her patients improve the quality of their lives as they are normally more confident, smile more and are able to eat more comfortably.

Dental Surgeon
Juliet qualified from Kings College, London, in 1996. She has worked mainly in private practice, spending many years working for Boots Dental Care at their Whetstone and Watford branches, and then with The Dental Clinic (owned by Optical Express) at their Watford and St Albans branches.
She has worked on the prestigious Wimpole Street, as well as supervising dental students and house officers (newly qualified dentists) at Kings College Dental Hospital.
Juliet enjoys treating patients of all ages and cultures and places a great emphasis on the meticulous quality of her work, conservation of teeth and the maintenance of good overall oral health. She has a reputation for her ability to calm nervous and anxious patients, being devoted to their welfare. She works in conjunction with tried and tested experts to provide the highest standards of treatment, taking time to ensure patients understand all the options available to them, always with their best interests at heart.
Katrina Mitchell

Dental Nurse + Receptionist
Katrina has been a dental nurse for over 15 years. She is highly experienced with an exceptionally kind and gentle manner and will always offer a hand to squeeze. She plays a number of roles within the practice including many practice management and reception duties.
She is registered with the GDC and keeps her knowledge continually updated by attending various courses. Katrina excels at putting our patients at ease with her friendly, compassionate approach.
Violeta Radan

.Violeta has been in the dental environment for many years and joined our team over 3 years ago.
She has a bubbly personality and has a love for working with people and always aims to do the best she can to help especially those that are anxious.
She keeps up to date with changes in regulations and protocols for the safe and effective running of the practice.
Diane Bailey

Dental Hygienist
Diane began her career in dentistry in the early 1990’s as a dental nurse and in 2003 qualified as an oral hygienist. She joined our team in 2014 and her skills as a hygienist have become integral to the service we provide. Diane has a passion for helping patients to achieve confidence when they smile, by educating them through oral health care advice and hygiene treatments.
With years of experience, Diane appreciates that patients can sometimes be nervous and self – conscious about their teeth, so she always strives to be gentle and caring in her approach.
